The method
The School brings together what a pianist needs to play Brazilian music: rhythm, chord reading, harmony, reharmonization and improvisation, taught by someone who lives this music on stage.
Every course starts from music as it is actually played, with no theory left hanging. Piano Rítmico, where most students begin, grew out of the method Salomão spent years developing to make Brazilian rhythms sound on the piano with the same swing they have on the accordion, the guitar and percussion. The other courses follow the same path through chord reading, harmony, reharmonization and improvisation.

Harmony: chords, progressions and the harmony of Brazilian music, applied to the piano.

A new class goes up on the platform every month, in Harmonia, Rearmonização or Improvise.
- Live, once a month
A group class with Salomão — applying the methods, Brazilian repertoire or a topic of the moment. It is recorded for those who could not attend.
- Feedback on what you play
You record the exercise you are practicing and post it to the community. Salomão watches it, analyses it and sends back feedback about your own sound.
- Community
Between classes, the student community and the practice challenges keep the rhythm going.
- English subtitles
On every class, for students outside Brazil. The classes are taught in Portuguese.
