The recording
A meeting on record between two of the leading names in Brazilian instrumental music: accordionist Toninho Ferragutti and pianist Salomão Soares.
The repertoire is divided between compositions by both — among them “Alegria de Matuto” and “Carta pra Lea”, which Salomão would record again the following year, in a quartet, on his debut album.
Recorded at Estúdio Ársis, in São Paulo, with the two artists co-producing.
